If you made your reservation through our online booking system, please send us an email with the changes you require. If you were assisted with your booking by one of our associates, please send them a direct email for the alteration.

In either case, when contacting us in writing or by phone, please remember to quote your client number, your reservation code or your Bonus per Mile card number.

Please note that there is a changing fee for every change made to a your reservation:

To proceed with the modification of your booking, the above changing fee has to be accepted.

Cancellations and refunds are subject to the cancellation policy of the ferry company you chose to travel with. In general, the closer to the departure date you cancel, the smaller your refund will be.

If you wish to proceed with a cancellation, please inform us as soon as possible. You can send your request for cancellation to our main email or directly to the associate that assisted you with your reservation. In either case, please remember to quote your client number, your reservation code or your Bonus per Mile card number.

From the refundable amount, Greekferries Club SA withholds a 10% cancellation fee.

Please note that service fees and delivery fees are not refundable.

All refunds are made based on the payment method you had selected. If you paid by credit card, the refund will be made to your card. If you paid by bank transfer, you will be asked to provide your account’s IBAN & BIC for the refund.

Cancellations:

  • Up to 14 days before departure date: 100% refund on tickets value.
  • Up to 7 days before departure date: 75% refund on tickets value.
  • Up to 12 hours before departure date: 50% refund on tickets value.
  • Cancellations made in less than 12 hours before departure are NOT entitled to a refund.
  • Tickets can be cancelled only by the issuing agency thereof.
  • Tickets can NOT be cancelled over the phone.

Passengers canceling their reservations are liable to the cancellations fees as follows:

  • 100% Up to 14 days before the departure.
  • 75% Up to 7 days before the departure.
  • 50% Up to 12 hours before the departure.
  • No refund is given for cancellations 12 hours before the departure.

- Tickets can be made OPEN until 1 hour before the departure and are valid for one year from the original day of issue.
- Economy Discount tickets cannot be cancelled or refunded.

Depending on the time of cancellation before the departure the ticket price is refunded as follows:

HIGH SEASON: 18/12/2020-07/01/2021, 12/03/2021-15/03/2021, 23/04/2021-10/05/2021, 14/06/2021-12/09/2021

  • Up to 14 days prior to departure: Tickets are canceled without charge or are converted into open date tickets or for another departure date.
  • From 13 to 7 days prior to departure: 25% cancellation fees or are alternatively converted into open date tickets or for another departure date.
  • From 6 days up to 2 hours prior to departure: 50% cancellation fees or are alternatively converted into open date tickets or for another departure date.
  • 2 hours before and up to the departure: 50% cancellation fees, tickets cannot be converted into open date and no change of date is possible.
  • After the departure: Tickets cannot be canceled or converted into open date and no change of date is possible.

LOW SEASON: (all other dates)

  • Up to 1 hour before departure: Tickets are canceled without charge or are converted into open date.
  • 1 hour prior to departure and up to the departure: 50% cancellation fees, tickets cannot be converted into open date and no change of date is possible.
  • After departure: Tickets cannot be canceled or converted into open date and no change of date is not possible.

Open date tickets are valid for one year from the original issue date. In order for the refund to be made the canceled tickets must be returned to the agency.

  • Full refund of the ticket value is granted for cancellations up to 1 day before departure.
  • On the day of departure, tickets cannot be cancelled, they can only be made open for travel on a later date.

Reservations including the 20% Early Booking discount may be changed maintaining the discount or cancelled without fees until 15th of March. After this date, the booking cannot be cancelled. However, it is permitted to change the date of travel, the connection, as well as to convert to open, by paying the price difference towards the standard price. Any applicable fees by Greekferries Club are independent.

Adriatic Lines

  • From the date of the ticket issue and up to 22 days before the scheduled departure, the fare of the ticket is fully refundable.
  • From 21 days up to 8 days before the scheduled departure: 80% refund.
  • From 7 days up to 24 hours before the scheduled departure: 50% refund.
  • Less than 24 hours prior to departure: the fare is not refunded. Tickets can only be converted to Open date tickets or to another departure date. If further cancelation is requested then the refund is calculated based on the original travel date.
  • Tickets can be refunded only by the issuing agency.

Domestic Routes (Piraeus-Chania or Heraklion)

HIGH SEASON: (18/12/20-06/01/21, 12/03/21, 15/03/21, 23/04/21-09/05/21, 18/06/21, 21/06/21, 25/06/21-05/09/21)

  • Up to 14 days prior to departure: Tickets are canceled without charge or converted to open date tickets or for another departure date.
  • From 13 up to 7 days prior to departure: 25% cancellation fees or converted to open date tickets or for another departure date.
  • From 6 days up to 2 hours prior to departure: 50% cancellation fees or converted to open date tickets or for another departure date.
  • 2 hours before and up to the departure: 50% cancellation fees, tickets are not converted to open date and no change of date is possible.
  • After departure: Tickets cannot be canceled or converted to open date and no change of date is possible.

LOW SEASON: (All other dates)

  • Up to 1 hour prior to departure: Tickets are canceled without charge or converted to open date tickets or for another departure date.

OPEN DATE TICKETS: Open date tickets are canceled without charge only when they originally have been issued as open date tickets. When converted to open date, the date when the ticket was made open is taken as the cancellation date and any refund is made with reference to the original travel date.

  • 100% Up to 14 days before the departure.
  • 75% Up to 7 days before the departure.
  • 50% Up to 12 hours before the departure.
  • No refund is given for cancellations 12 hours before the departure.
  • Tickets can be made OPEN until 1 hour before the departure.

  • Cancellation up to 30days before departure: 100% refund.
  • Cancellation from 29days till 7 days before departure: 75% refund.

CYCLADES - DODECANESE - N. AEGEAN - SPORADES

  • 7 days prior to departure: Tickets are cancelled without charge or can be converted to open date tickets or for another departure date.
  • From 7 days and up to 4 hours prior to departure: A 50% cancellation charge is applied or alternatively tickets can be converted to open date tickets or for another departure date.
  • Up to the departure: 50% cancellation fees must be paid, tickets cannot be made open and it is not possible to change the date
  • After departure: Tickets cannot be cancelled or converted to open date tickets or to travel another date.

(*) For the period 15/04/22-24/04/22 & from 09/06/22-11/06/22 for all departures from Piraeus, Lavrio, Volos & Kavala & Thessaloniki and for the period 25/04/22-02/05/22 & 13/06/22-14/06/22 for all departures to Piraeus, Lavrio, Volos & Kavala & Thessaloniki , tickets are cancelled without charge or converted to open date tickets or for another departure date, 14 days prior to departure. Up to 7 days prior to departure, a 25% cancellation charge is applied or alternatively tickets can be converted to open date tickets or for another departure date. Τhe above applies to all in between routes as well.

LOW SEASON: All other dates except those mentioned in HIGH SEASON

  • 3 days prior to departure: Tickets are cancelled without charge or can be converted to open date tickets or change to another date.
  • Up to 1 hour prior to departure: A 50% cancellation charge is applied or alternatively tickets can be converted to open date tickets or for another departure date.
  • Up to the departure: 50% cancellation fees must be paid, tickets cannot be made open and it is not possible to change the date
  • After departure: Tickets cannot be cancelled or converted to open date tickets or to travel another date.

OPEN DATE TICKETS:

  • Open date tickets are cancelled without charge when they have been originally issued as open.
  • For tickets that have been converted to open date the cancelation policy of the original tickets applies.
  • In case the passenger wants to travel on a date with a higher fare than the fare paid, the price difference needs to be paid.

SARONIC ROUTES

HIGH SEASON: 15/04/22-02/05/22 & 09/06/22-25/09/22 (*)

  • 4 days prior to departure: Tickets are cancelled without charge or can be converted to open date tickets or for another departure date.
  • Up to 2 hours prior to departure: A 50% cancellation charge is applied or alternatively tickets can be converted to open date tickets or for another departure date.
  • Up to 2 hours prior: A 50% cancellation charge is applied or alternatively tickets can be converted to open date tickets or for another departure date.
  • Up to the departure: 50% cancellation fees must be paid, tickets cannot be made open and it is not possible to change the date
  • In Piraeus-Aegina-Agistri - Methana route, tickets can be converted to open date tickets or for another departure date, up to the departure.
  • After departure: Tickets cannot be cancelled or converted to open date tickets or to travel another date.

(*) For the period 15/04/22-24/04/22 & from 09/06/22-11/06/22 & for all departures from Piraeus and for the period 25/04/22-02/05/22 & 13/06/22-14/06/22 for all departures to Piraeus , tickets are cancelled without charge or converted to open date tickets or for another departure date, 7 days prior to departure. Up to 4 days prior to departure , a 25% cancellation charge is applied or alternatively tickets can be converted to open date tickets or for another departure date. The above applies to all in between routes as well.

LOW SEASON: All other dates

  • Up to 1 day prior to departure: Tickets are cancelled without charge or can be converted to open date tickets or for another departure date.
  • Up to departure: A 50% cancellation charge is applied or alternatively tickets can be converted to open date tickets or for another departure date.
  • After departure: Tickets cannot be cancelled or converted to open date tickets or to travel another date.

OPEN DATE TICKETS:

• Open date tickets are cancelled without charge when they have been originally issued as open.
• For tickets that have been converted to open date the cancelation policy of the original tickets applies.
• In case the passenger wants to travel on a date with a higher fare than the fare paid, the price difference needs to be paid.

The passengers can cancel or replace their tickets and get a partial or full refund depending on the date of cancellation.

  • 7 days prior the departure of the ship: Tickets are cancelled without charge.
  • Alternatively, the passenger is given the possibility to convert these tickets into Open Date (Open) in order to use them on a future trip, provided that the request has been made before departure.
    The passenger may convert a ticket to open date ticket until one hour prior the departure of the vessel (the departure date/time that appears on the ticket). The open date ticket then will be valid for a period of one year from the initial travel date that appears on the ticket.
  • After the vessel's departure tickets cannot be cancelled, cannot be converted to Open Date (Open) and cannot be transferred to another date.
  • Tickets cannot be cancelled via telephone. Tickets can be cancelled or converted only by the issuing travel agent.

Cancellation of tickets and return of fare:

  • Up to 8 days prior to departure time tickets can be cancelled without penalties or converted to an open date ticket. The ticket must be returned to the issuing agency.
  • From 7 days up until the departure time: Tickets can be cancelled with a cancellation penalty of 50% or converted to an open date ticket (up to 2 hours prior to departure time). The ticket must be returned to the issuing agency.
  • After departure: Tickets cannot be cancelled, cannot be converted to open date and travel dates cannot be changed. Tickets can only be cancelled by the issuing travel agent; they cannot be cancelled over the phone. Tickets must be returned to the issuing travel agency for cancelations or changes.

  • 100% Up to 14 days before the departure.
  • 75% Up to 7 days before the departure.
  • 50% Up to 12 hours before the departure.
  • No refund is given for cancellations 12 hours before the departure.

OPEN DATE TICKETS: Open date tickets are canceled without cancellation fees only if they have initially been issued as open date tickets. When converted to open date they are canceled with 50% cancellation fees. Open date tickets are valid for one year from the issuing date. Open date tickets are not valid for embarkation unless replaced by new tickets with the date of departure.

Cancellations must be notified to the Carrier in writing or by the travel agency that issued the ticket.

The following cancellation fees apply on the total amount of the ticket (passengers, vehicles, pets, other items)*:

Full fare ticket:

  • 10% penalty (plus fix dues) up to 30 days prior to sailing.
  • 30% penalty (plus fix dues) from 29 to 7 days prior to sailing.
  • 50% penalty (plus fix dues) from 6 to 2 days prior to sailing.
  • 100% penalty (plus fix dues), 1 day or less from departure and no show.

* Meals on board and shuttle bus service:
- they are not refundable in case of 100% penalty or no show
- they are 100% refundable in all other cases.

Special fare tickets are not refundable. No refund is granted for missed embarkation due to refusal by authority or due to missing or insufficient personal documentation or vehicle documentation. The tickets, which were made two changes of sailing date, are not refundable. Tickets with special Agreement are refundable if they are Special Fare tickets, otherwise they will be not refunded.

  • Up to 14 days before departure, 0% cancellation fees.
  • From 14 days up to 7 days before departure, 25% cancellation fees.
  • From 7 days up to 12 hours before departure, 50% cancellation fees.
  • Cancellations made less than 12 hours before departure, 100% cancellation fees.
  • Passengers who wish to cancel their tickets are required to contact the travel agency that issued their ticket/s.
  • From 12 hours up to 1 hour before departure, tickets can be made OPEN.

Ticket Cancelation:

  • Up to 14 days before departure 100% refund.
  • Up to 7 days before departure date 75% refund.
  • Up to 12 hours before departure date 50% refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 12 hours before departure time cannot be refunded.
  • Alternatively:
    Tickets can be converted to Open Date tickets, if requested by the passenger, up to 2 hours prior to departure time. Open Date tickets can be replaced by a new ticket of equal or greater value, by paying the fare difference according to availability. Above mentioned cancelation policy does not apply for the new ticket and any fare difference between the two tickets is non refundable. Discounts that were not included in the original ticket cannot be added to the new one also, a vehicle ticket cannot be replaced by a passenger ticket and v.v. Open Date tickets must be replaced within 1 year of the original issue date.

  • For cancellations made 14 days before the scheduled day of departure of the ship or earlier, the overall fare plus costs in favour of third parties and VAT are returned.
  • For cancellations made 7 days before the scheduled day of departure of the ship or earlier, 75% of the fare plus costs in favour of third parties and VAT are returned
  • For cancellations made 12 hours before the scheduled day of departure of the ship or earlier, 50% of the fare plus costs in favour of third parties and VAT are returned
  • For cancellations made within 12 hours before the scheduled day of departure of the ship no money is returned at all.

  • In the event of cancellation, written notice must be received by Meander Travel at least 3 days prior to the clients' arrival in order to receive the full refund.
  • In the event of no show, 100% cancellation fee will apply.
  • In the event of the cancellations due to the bad weather conditions there will be no refund.

Please note that reservations including the Early Booking Offer may be changed or cancelled without fees until 20 days before the departure. After this date the booking cannot be cancelled, however tickets can be changed or made open, by paying the price difference towards the standard price. Any applicable fees by Greekferries Club are independent.

International Routes

  • Up to 30 days before the scheduled departure: 90% refund.
  • From 29 days up to 7 days before the scheduled departure: 70% refund.
  • From 6 days up to 2 days before the scheduled departure: 50% refund.
  • 24 hour prior to departure time: the fare is not refunded.
  • Tickets can be refunded only by the issuing agency.
  • The fare is not refundable for Non Show, Open Date tickets and if boarding is prohibited by port authorities due to insufficient documents (passenger or vehicle).

Domestic Routes (Crete & Cyclades islands)

  • From the date of the ticket issue and up to 14 days before the scheduled departure, the fare of the ticket is fully refundable.
  • From 13 days up to 7 days before the scheduled departure: 75% refund.
  • From 6 days up to 12 hours before the scheduled departure: 50% refund.
  • Less than 12 hours prior to departure time the fare is non refundable.
  • Non Show and Open Date tickets are non refundable.

Open Tickets

It is possible to convert tickets to Open date tickets, for a future trip, as long as the request in made as follows:

An open date ticket can be replaced by a new ticket of equal or greater value, by paying the price difference and are subsequent to availability.
The above cancellation conditions do not apply to the newly issued ticket and no refund can be made in the case it is not used.
The newly issued ticket can only include discounts that were included in the original ticket and also a passenger ticket cannot be not replaced by a vehicle ticket or vice versa.
Open tickets are valid (can be replaced with a new ticket) for one year from the original date of departure.

Cancellation fees apply as follows:

  • Cancellation up to 30days before departure: 90% refund.
  • Cancellation from 29days till 7 days before departure: 70% refund.
  • Cancellation from 6 days till 48 hours before departure: 50% refund.
  • Cancelation in less than 48 hours prior to departure and for non-show tickets : non refundable.
  • The refund is only made by the agency that has issued the ticket.

Low season:
Up to 4 days before the departure:
The tickets which are canceled are getting a full refund, or they can be changed to “open”
Less than 4 days to 4 hours before departure: the tickets can be changed to “OPEN”, while in the case of cancelation, the passengers get only 50% of the total fare as a refund.
Below 4 hours until the departure, the tickets can only be canceled, with a 50% refund.
In case the ship has already departed, the tickets can’t be changed or canceled.

High season: 24/04/2021 – 04/05/2021 & 07/06/2021 – 19/09/2021
14 days before the departing date, the tickets can be canceled with a 100% refund, but they can also get changed to “open”, so they can have a different date, different itinerary, etc.
From 14 days until 12 hours before the departure, the tickets can be changed in terms of date and itinerary, or they are changed to “open”, or either canceled with a 50% refund to the customer. Less than 12 hours to 4 hours before departure: the tickets can be canceled with a 50% refund to the customer. However the tickets can’t be changed and they cannot be changed to “open” tickets.
Below 4 hours until the departure: the tickets cannot be canceled, cannot be changed to “open” tickets, while the date of the itinerary cannot be changed as well.
Open date tickets are canceled without cancellation fees only if they were originally issued as open tickets. Tickets that have been converted to OPEN can be canceled with 50% cancellation fees.

Cancellation fees apply as follows:

  • Cancellation up to 30days before departure: 90% refund.
  • Cancellation from 29days till 7 days before departure: 70% refund.
  • Cancellation from 6 days till 48 hours before departure: 50% refund.
  • Cancelation in less than 48 hours prior to departure and for non-show tickets : non refundable.
  • The refund is only made by the agency that has issued the ticket.

From the day of issuance and up to 7 days before departure: full refund
From 6 to 3 days before departure: 75% refund of ticket value
From 3 days to 12 hours before departure: 50% refund of ticket value
From 12 hours up to the departure time: no refund

Note:
Non-show and open date tickets cannot be cancelled

  • A 100% refund, up to 91 days prior to departure.
  • A 80% refund, from 90 days up to 8 days prior to departure.
  • A 50% refund, from 7 days to 24 hours prior to departure.
  • The Company has no obligation to refund in case of cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to ship’s departure or if the passenger does not report at check-in.

For the periods 4/03/22 to 07/03/22, 20/04/22 to 26/04/22, 29/04/22 to 02/05/22, 10/06/22 to 13/06/22 and 04/07/22 to 04/09/22 the following applies:
Tickets can be cancelled up until 5 days before departure. Tickets are cancelled without cancellation fees or are made open or they are transferred to other travel dates.
From 5 days up to 12 hours before departure, tickets can be cancelled with 50% cancellation fees or they can be made open or transferred to another travel date.

For the remaining dates the following applies:
Up to 3 days before departure tickets can be cancelled without cancelation fees, made open or transferred to a different travel date.
From 3 days up to 2 hours before departure tickets can be cancelled with 50% cancellation fees or they can be made open.

For all travel dates:
Once the ship has departed tickets can neither be cancelled nor made open, except for reasons of force majeure when the passenger cannot travel and can provide all necessary documentation.
